SCT Series Silent Rigid Chain

SERAPID horizontal motion systems for stage wagons and scenery transfer systems feature high transfer speeds at extremely low noise levels (45 to 55 dBA). The SCT Series Silent Rigid Chain incorporates soundproof materials for the chain rollers and guides. The chain return is redirected and stored either vertically or horizontally above or below the stage. It is possible to redirect the chain several times so very long chains may be stored along the ceiling.

The SCT Silent Rigid Chain features speeds of up to 200 ft/min, and can push or pull up to 77,000 lbs per chain. The chain guides can be used to guide stage wagons, can facilitate crossing tracks and allows for stage wagon systems on multiple levels.

These systems are frequently used on stages aboard cruise ships.

TSM Scenery Movement System

Specially designed Push-Pull Rigid Chain used for Telescopic Seating Systems, Retractable Bleacher systems and Scenery Movement applications.

The TSM chain is a specially designed Rigid Push Chain, with the ability to move a horizontal load along a floor. Just like SERAPID’s original Rigid Chain systems, this chain is rigid in one direction, and will become compacted in the other direction, so it can be stored in a minimal amount of space.

With the TSM, wheels are placed on the chain to facilitate rolling on the floor. The wheels are made of a non-marking rubber, and ride along the ground, and can glide across any type of flooring – hardwood, tile, carpet, or concrete.
