Theater

Orchestra Pit Lift

The upstage and downstage proscenium lifts are comprised of 13 lift columns, while the sound cockpit lift contains three lifts.

The upstage proscenium lift is comprised of four LinkLift 100 columns, and the downstage has six LinkLift 100 columns. Both travel a distance of 20’-6”. The cockpit lift has three LinkLift 100 columns and travels a distance of nearly 21’.

LinkLift columns are used to create a multipurpose venue for BMW World. Lifts travel from 4 ft to 26 feet at a speed of 39 feet/minute!

The lift is 36 ft long by 11.5 ft wide and 11.5 ft high.
The lift travels of up to 43 ft. The LinkLifts are guided in tubes over the first 34 ft. of travel which allows the lift to operate up to 43 ft - 20 ft beyond the unguided travel range. The return chains are stored in guide tubes across the floor of the pit and up the adjacent wall.

This rising bar has been designed for the cruise ship Oasis of the Seas. The 4 LinkLift possess 4 specifically designed magazines in a snail shape to provide the necessary stroke with the minimum magazine size possible.

Sixty-two LinkLift 100 lifting systems elevate the stage area in the Beijing stadium, the total surface measuring 11,625 ft².

Eight systems of double LinearBeam push/pull systems type to open/close the roof of the arena.

LinearBeam pushes 4 observation ledges out approximately 103 stories above the streets of Chicago!

Transfers a guided carriage with 6000 lbs of nuclear waste. It moves horizontally 200 inches, with multiple stop points. At each stop point, it locks in place while the load is lifted using another actuator.

Push/Pull System to raise/lower 24,000 lb. stainless steel container a distance of 140 inches. The container holds molten glass mixed with nuclear waste.

Supply of one stainless steel lifting unit to move containers with radioactive
waste.

Key Considerations:
Harsh Environment: Chain is constantly exposed to weld spatter and smoke.
The weld is performed while the system is pushed out 17 feet.
System Specifics:
2 Rigid Chain Push/Pull Systems:
System 1: Guides the gauge box. Equipped with special oversized rollers and side roller brackets. A specially machined housing accommodates the oversized rollers.
System 2: Also has oversize rollers, gripper plates, as well as, pins to attach the electrical hose carrier plates. This system includes a special-machined zero-degree housing for a straight through chain drive.
